THE MOCKINGBIRDS - FREELANCE
The Mockingbirds are an energetic cover band based out of Boston who perform at weddings and bars all across New England. Eager to build a brand and book their own gigs, the band trio—Riley, Patrick, and Kyle—sought out a fresh look for their logo, as well as a strong presence online.

The band spoke of their cohesion as performers, their volume and energy on stage, and their endless library of songs with options for any setting. Their new logo incorporates their gritty energy and smooth cohesion while making a clear reference to the “bird” in their name:

Following the completion of a successful logo project, The Mockingbirds and I continued to collaborate on designing their new website. This included extensive research, content creation, strategy, visual brand expansion, copywriting, and a learning curve as I explored a new web-building software called Webflow.

In expanding the brand, I developed a series of custom illustrations and icons that would appear throughout the website:
